Exploring History on the Water!

Our students enjoyed a fantastic canal boat ride, stepping back in time to learn how canals helped shape industrial Britain.

As they travelled along the waterways, students discovered how canals were once vital for transporting goods and powering industry, helping towns and cities to grow. The experience brought history to life, connecting classroom learning with the real world around them.

It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and curiosity, as students engaged with the journey and asked thoughtful questions along the way. A brilliant blend of learning, exploration, and adventure! 🌊🗺️
