Building Independence in the Community!

Our students have been developing their independent living skills with visits to the local shops, taking on the responsibility of purchasing ingredients for their activities.

From planning what they need, to handling money and interacting with shop staff, it was fantastic to see their confidence grow every step of the way. These real-life experiences are key in supporting independence and preparing for everyday life beyond school.
